Each year the City of Torrington provides tours for all local fifth grade students for an educational glimpse on the cycles of water in nature, drinking water production and how city wastewater is treated.
Most students arrive with no idea from where the water in the faucet comes, or where it goes after swirling down the drain; however after the tours they do!
