Employment Positions Available:

Homesteaders Museum/Seasonal Position: The City of Torrington is accepting applications for seasonal help for Homesteaders Museum to help with archival maintenance/organization.  Other duties may include: occasional open and closing of museum, turn on lighting, answer phone and take messages, low maintenance lawn care (watering, weeding, etc.) greeting guests, giving tours, cleaning exhibits and historic buildings. Starting pay $9.00 per hour. Must be 18 years of age. Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Preference may be given to those able to work through October. Airport Manager: The City of Torrington, Wyoming is currently accepting applications for the contracted position of Airport Manager (AM).  The ideal candidate would be someone who is retired with a love for aviation and the desire and qualifications to train others to fly.  As this is a contracted position there are no benefits.  The contract salary is in the range of $35,000 to $40,000 per year (DOQ), and the AM receives fuel sale commissions and a hangar for their personal use, which may be leased out for additional income. The AM is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the airport and is able to respond to needs and emergencies 24/7.
