Coronavirus (COVID-19) - City offices closing to public on November 12th see latest update

The City of Torrington will follow the guidelines advanced to us by Governor Mark Gordon which requires us to close our doors to the public. All City facilities are closed to the public until further notice. Please continue to communicate with us via phone, e-mail, text or regular mail or contact us for an in person appointment if your business cannot be conducted over the phone. The Golf Course is open for limited play. Please call 532-3868 before you play.

Due to the spike in COVID-19 cases in the City of Torrington and in Goshen County, the City of Torrington will close its doors to the public as of Thursday, November 12th. All City facilities will be closed until further notice. Please continue to communicate with us via phone, e-mail, text or regular mail or contact us for an in-person appointment if your business cannot be conducted over the phone.

The June 2, 2020 City Council Meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at 7:00 PM. There is a limit of 10 - 12 seats available that are spaced six feet apart. Staff, Mayor and Council will be seated as far apart as possible with masks required. The public is required to wear face masks to attend the meeting. The meeting will also be broadcasted live by KGOS/KERM for the public to listen to the meeting.
